if loot trade window MUST be allowed.. then..

ONLY enable it in 20/40 man content

it will be abused so hard in 5/10mans because groups of friends will all need on 1 thing and trade it to the friend who needed it...

this is a huge... HUGE.. change from vanilla. I know you want to implement this to lower the need for customer support. so implement in a scenario where it actually matters, on content that has lock outs.

if loot is messed up in a 5/10 man... too bad. run it again.

Agree with you 100%. I have been VERY skeptical of this Classic reveal. Honestly, I haven't played since WOTLK. I have missed A LOT, I'm 95% an oldschool vanilla player who remembers buying his first copy. I had no idea what "phasing" was, or "sharding", or anything like that.

5 man dungeons was where I thrived, and I LOVED meeting new people to play with. There were people who... "ninja'd" so to speak, like hunters who didn't need an axe as much as a warrior or paladin did, but still needed it. But that was... still a fair competition. Now it's "friends" vs "outsiders". If you aren't in their clique or guild, you are DEFINITELY going to be treated unfairly.

Why should I even dungeon as I level anymore, besides quests? I used to love the thrill of an item dropping in dungeons that wasn't exactly common. My heart pounded as I waited for my FAIR competition to roll. Now I'm just going to sit with cheek in palm waiting for everyone to roll on it. Ugh. This is ALL I'm worried about now.

Limited sharding in starting zones for a week or so? OKAY FINE. I can deal.

Encouraging toxic behavior and saying "screw the guys who do PUGS"?? NO!!!

And the only reason is to save "Blizzard" the inconvenience. Hey... we're spending money on this. I get you're doing all the work to bring this content back. But guess what? I stopped playing WoW because I hate retail. You're bringing me as a customer back who is going to pay you 30 bucks a month with my wife to play. BUT THIS CRAP MAKES ME VERY SKEPTICAL.

This would require blizzard to add more code to this system. And it sounds like a lot more code.

Simply restricting it to 20/40 man content is probably much simpler.

Let's do one better.

Only allow it in 20/40 man raids while master loot is enabled.

I love this idea, posting to show my support.

You can’t deny blizzard wants to reduce ticket production which is why they favor this. We are simply trying to offer them middle ground.

I don't think it is too much to ask. Not allowing this in 5-10 man dungeons, or at the VERY least 5 man dungeons, so PUGs can still thrive, and so their target audience (larger raids) can still function properly with no tickets. I don't think people in 5 man raids send tickets like that.

Just don't ruin my low-level, casual dungeoning experience by enabling "outsider" shunning, and loot thieves.
Just don't have loot transfer at all then?

Clicking need and claiming "sorry I misclicked" has been true maybe one time out of every million. Because people aren't stupid and it doesn't take a whole lot of hand-eye coordination to click a button or nameplate.

No loot trading means more tickets to trade loot?
Just don't respond to tickets asking to trade loot. It's not necessary.

What about being accountable for your mistakes? If the GM or whoever gives the loot makes a mistake ... well, it creates drama in the guild but Blizzard could say "your loss, end of the story, we won't respond to those tickets".

The more Blizzard implemented system to babysit the players along the years, the !@#$tiest the game has become (that includes many so called QoL features, reporting system, loot system etc.).
Treat someone like a toddler, and he will act like one. I have seen it many times in working environment where a boss would micro manage its people, and then people are not only unhappy, but are waiting to be told what to do and so it was becoming worse and worse.
I guess, dear Blizzard, what we're saying is: we don't mind that you don't want to spend manhours on responding to GM tickets for misclicks.

What we don't want is that you replace this with a trading window for 5/10 man content. We rather just accept someone misclicked, and move on.

TBH I didn't even know in Vanilla a GM would give the item to another part member lol!

I second the idea or retaining the window for ML Raids - although 5-10 mins should be sufficient.
All these pathetic cucks giving them leeway.

No changes. Learn how to win ffs. If you compromise you water down your movement. Sharding will be destroyed and this trash is the next target.

Agreed.
If they have to choose between loot trading and "omg we don't have the resources to handle something we could handld 14 years ago just fine!" then I say ditch both. The game and community will be better for it.

Because as I said, legitimate misclicks are practically a myth. If someone needs instead of greeds their own stupidity (0.1% likely) or their ninja attempt (99.9% likely) both deserve backlash. It's called blacklisting.

This won't be fast paced M+ nonsense. You should be sitting down eating/drinking after a boss, which gives you all the time in the world to make sure your cursor is over the correct button before pressing it.

You aren’t destroying sharding. 100% you won’t succeed in this quest

Simple solution is to not pug when you want important loot. A large part of classic was guild runs and not pug runs. Member?
