Black Qiraj mount
KSM Mounts
Gladiator Mounts
Naxxramas Protodrakes
Zul’Gurub Raid Version
Pandaria Challenge Mode Sets/Mounts
And all the rest that never returned
It just seems to be wildly inconsistent to me. They didn’t bring back Kor’kron War Wolf because of its “prestige” as an AOTC reward… but now they’re bringing back a different AOTC reward?
So, apparently some things are more “prestigious” than others for… reasons?
Naxx Protodrakes and ZG Raid version would be a huge W for the collecting community, so im on board with those two for sure
As for the inconsistency, i dont understand it either…Kor’kron could of been moved to Mythic Garrosh instead of Normal in Remix and it would of felt the same as earning it on normal back when it was current content…so if you ask me, it would be easier to just add the wolf to anyone who killed Garrosh Mythic in Remix (their mount tab in collections) and call it a day
Scarab Lord Mount is basically just a glorified AOTC that had a questline attached to it - essentially it involved clearing the previous raid content before the release of the next tier.
So if violet spellwing is coming back, give us scarab lord too.
(Also let’s not forget to mention that blizzard opened new realms in WoTLK with closed AQ gates - so ALOT of people got scarab lord at lvl 80: two expansions later)
Scarab lord was technically already brought back to the game and then removed again for “reasons”
If Oasis got back together, then everything exclusive in this game should be available for me to compulsively collect in a completely trivial way to assuage my OCD.
That is essentially my only issue with it. They are basically saying that some of these limited time things should be preserved for the people that earned them, but these people here do not deserve the same privilege. Especially odd since the wolf from the last expansion was not given out.
If they had made all things available in Remix, or made none of the limited stuff available (but gave us recolours to earn of them instead) it would have made more sense. As it stands though they just sorta picked and chose which limited achievement items they figured people should be proud of.
