I’m sorry.
Please get the Cooler Master Masterbox NR600 instead.

Or… and hear me out. Don’t get coolermaster?
Corsair makes a VERY good AIO that is not too expensive, quiet, and is better geared for OCing. And good AIO are going to be a hallmark recommendation because of the increased heat generated by the next gen GPU’s.
I just ordered this case to replace my NZXT S340.
Every review I’ve seen has been very positive of this, even from outlets who have previously criticized other cooler master products.
I’ll let you all know how I like it but, it seems like a solid choice for the price.

you spelled phanteks wrong
To each their own bu I would not drop the amount of money these GPU AIO costs (some are $700+) on top of the already high cost of the new RTX 3XXX cards.
FYI, corsair AIO come from Asetek (they seem to make over other brand’s AIO) or CoolIT so other brands should have similar results as Corsair AIO.
Not really sure where this came from tbh
I was talking cases and then now were talking AIOs
sometimes a thread needs a good hijacking, speaking of which Blizzard must be working on the server again since most of my toons are gone and I can only select from two old ones

I wasn’t talking about GPU waterblocks. I was talking about CPU AIO’s.
but why? thread is about a computer case

not following the logic? How does a CPU AIO help cool the GPU better then a large air HSF?
what in the world is happening here
Sorry… Saw coolermaster and lost it for a moment.
Thought a sub-topic within the thread would calm me down.
That said. I would need to see some SERIOUSLY good reviews about a CM case to change my mind.
I do medium sized builds, so running the Corsair Carbide Spec 02 redshift has done well for me.
edit:
I do plan to move away from the carbide case. I am almost done with design for my pc desk. Plan to build it myself. I don’t take my desktop any where, and I like the aesthetic of the desk option.
Cooler Master H500(no other letters) had universal good reviews. I played around with it at microcenter.
There have been, and I linked tech jesus’s in this thread.
Of course it’s all relative. This one is because price to performance is high, and probably some praise due to prior models being somewhat lacking.
In other news, I’ve resigned myself to the likelihood I won’t be getting an RTX 3080 the first round due to limited supply.
Instead, I’ve done the following:
Ordered Noctua NH-D15 to replace my Cryorig H7
Ordered Fractal Design Meshify C (solid side panel) to replace my NZXT S340
This should improve my thermals, get me ready for a new GPU (whether its an Nvidia RTX 3080 or AMD Big Navi) and also I am pretty much all done with RGB lighting effects.
I WOULD have got the Cooler Master, but its too large for my desk orientation.
most of the time cpu AIO exhaust the air outside of the case vs HSF that disperse the air inside causing higher ambient temps inside the case. Now this also really depends on the airflow of said case.
i don’t like AIOs personally.
You’re either increasing GPU/VRM temps or increasing CPU temps
*generally
If that is the case (pun intended), your HSF is dispersing air inside the case, then you have set up the cooling of your case incorrectly. The HSF should have access to cool air both through an open vent (top front typically) and fans (typically front). Any hot air should be removed quickly by the exhaust fans (typically rear and top back).

cool build. I have a phanteks 400A (similar to the Meshify C) w/ a Noctua U12A. My old gaming system used a Cryorig H7.
Like I said it mainly depends on the air flow of said case. Most have the proper position for fans and such.
I personally like the looks of custom/AIO cooler so I tend to go that way. Also I say a nice difference when I swapped out the amd prism cooler.
I’m actually on the fence about the Cryorig H7. It performs well, but it’s not in the same league as the NH-D15.
And if I end up getting a super heat dumping GPU, I might want a bit more on the CPU cooling side, even though I’m delidded and temps are in check now.
I might cancel that order.

Not saying air is better then AIO or vice versa. My point is, if done correctly neither one should make a major impact on GPU temps.
