New Classic Players remember this phrase when choosing your server.
On a PVP server you will be killed and camped until you leave every chance someone gets.
You may encounter a few players who will just *wave and leave you alone but the majority will kill you over and over to get every bit of honor they can or chase you from their leveling AOE.
I predict people 1 click reporting and coming to the forums to cry about XXXXX camping them.
So, just like classic.
Not how the reporting system works…you gotta say something in chat and it only affects chat.

You will find that generally on PvP servers you will only get killed once or twice and we move on. If they want your camping spot then go find another or better yet, kill them first.
There is always a PvP solution to every PvP problem.
Played on a PVP server with 10k people in relative peace. People saying it’s constant murder whenever you enter a zone are blowing it out of proportion.
Same here. I played one to start and for the most part I was left alone I think maybe 2 or 3 times out of the year or so I played on that server did I get camped usually some rogue having fun with sap or a mage finding sheeping me funny.
Have you played northdale? And have you been looking around in certain places? (like stv, hillsbrad, silithus, duskwood, etc)
I really hope the ganking won’t be as bad as it is in private servers. I nearly quit the game after I got killed 20+ times from questing in different spots in stv…make servers separate for every continent and lower the pop cap size to only 3k…I think this will help a lot
Their use to be a warning message back in vanilla that pretty much said join at your own risk when joining a pvp server

I couldn’t even do some quests myself because of the amount of ganks that’s happened. But then again that’s just another private server issue, in classic yeah I’m expecting it to happen but at least it will not be anywhere near as bad as pservers if blizz makes servers continent seperate (which I’m sure they will)
Authentic experience for sure, I’m just glad this is something P servers and Classic will share, we can make bridges out of tears, and unite the player bases.
Yeah this is exactly right. Assuming the classic realm populations are similar to 2004-06 WoW there really aren’t a ton of constant murder zones. But if you’re grinding young stranglethorn tigers right next to Nessie’s in STV on a PvP server for some reason, then yeah you’re gonna have a bad time.
Leveling wont be to harsh at the start when you hit stv. There will be no level 60 camping the zone
While this is true, it isn’t authentic, I mean besides like Nessing way. stormguard blackrock, and the place’s you KNOW are going to be bad, regardless
It’s not as crazy as people make it out to be, it honestly does add charm into the world having so many people there i won’t deny that, and i would honestly do it again, but for now i just say let’s go for “Blizzlike” as possible, then later down the road why not just push for FRESH Megaserver for these p server boy’s?
But they aren’t. Sometimes you get camped forever.
Makes me happy I won’t be playing on a PVP server.
