If it were still top .05 for glad?

Just curious, does anyone know what the current rating cutoff would be for 3v3 if top .05 percent was still the requirement for gladiator?

Also curious to know what that would look like for 2v2? Would 2400 be within the top .05%?

theres over 3500 players over 2400 atm. I dont know the math on that.

r1 cutoff (top 0.1%) on horde right now is 3267 which is rank 158 US. For glad cutoff it would be 5x that number (0.5%) which would be rank 790 or 2884 cr.

Wow, Just about a 500 rating difference from what it used to be (for 3’s). They should make glad top .05 percent again, and just keep elite for 2400 achievement.

They should remove all rewards from 2s first past 1800

the highest it’s ever been yeah, but not 500 pts (besides s14)

prideful/warmong/demonic were the previous highests at 2751 2713 and 2744

wod/legion seasons were typically 26ish
bfa seasons mostly ended up being around 26 (corrupted 27 something iirc)

Also, I see no reason not to award gladiator in 2s. It would likely require like 2500+ (good luck with that for most). The idea that 2’s doesn’t deserve glad because some comps/classes are faceroll is kinda dumb. By it’s very nature, if you’re in the top .05%…it means you’re the BEST of those comps since you beat out the majority of other OP comps/specs. Also, there seems to be enough spec/comp diversity in 2s…and for those that aren’t dominant in 2’s, there’s still 3s.

Theres no diversity in 2s lol

I’m referring to the fact that it’s now a 2400 requirement but if it were .05% like it used to be, the current cuttoff would be almost 2900 (likely higher by end of sseason).

IMO, there’s too much of a dead space gap between gladiator now and rank 1. There’s no reward now between literal top 3-5% and .01%. You could be 3200 and you get the same reward as the guy who just barely squeaked by getting 2400 at end of season.

you not seeing the reason doesn’t mean that no reasons exist

so nah, pass

Well Idk about the tip top of the ladder but up to almost 2400 in 2s, i’ve seen pretty much every spec often except:

fury war
destro lock
enh shaman
ele shaman
arcane/frost mage
unholy dk

Most of the above have more serious issues and don’t have S tier comps in 3s…so it doesn’t appear to be a bracket issue so much. Of course some specs like war/rdruid/priest/rogue/hunter/ww/dh are overrepresented but the same can be said for 3s for the most part, just for different comps/reasons.

stop

Im pretty sure glad was 0.5% not 0.05%, or is this a meme im not getting.

We Arms players struggle with decimals and numbers in general, please understand.

Dey just execute my poor 230 monk =(.

So you want % glad back, say 2s should give glad, then admit above 2.4 there’s no diversity, where the % glad would be. Are you trolling or?

I think that he dislikes the prospect of finding a third.

All he plays is rdruid and arms warrior in 2s lol. No wonder

ngl i wouldn’t hate it if they kept elite/50wins for title/FoS as a reward in 2s/3s but it didn’t give the mount

and the mount was still 0.5% in 3’s
