If I wanted to pvp is engineering mandatory?

I want to make an s-priest just for pvp, but am wondering if i should do tailoring/enchanting, or engineering. I was thinking of doing enchanting on a mage who would better be suited to farm low level dunegons, but I have always done enchanting with a priest and engineering on a mage.

If you’re talking rated it doesn’t matter.

For unrated it’s not needed but it’s definitely a bonus that helps.
