You can’t go wrong with any of the mail classes right now.
Evoker and Elemental shaman in particular has been a lot of fun (Devastation Evoker in particular feels really fluid, and elemental is simple but VERY flashy and VERY fun).
All three mage specs are performing well in end-game content. Fire’s my favorite, but I I hear arcane’s fun and pulling big numbers.
If you just want to vibe and have a good time, paladin. Ret paladin. Never lose a fight again. Solo everything.
All three Shaman specs are in good places atm.

It’s hard to go wrong with Ret. It’s like playing a melee class, except you can basically keep DPSing even while all the other melee DPS can’t reach the mobs.

As the classes stand right now if I have to pick one only, Im going Demonology warlock.
Its fun to play and can stand up to most…but it seems like they murdered some of the self heals recently or something.

Evoker and Elemental shaman just in particular have been a lot of fun for me. The only hunter spec I’ve played extensively is Surv, and that’s been great, but MM and BM I feel I can’t talk much on since I have too much fun throwing FRAGS at people.

Honestly, as solid as Elemental is right now, it’d be best to avoid it right now.
Big rework coming in about a month. Could be total garbage after that. We won’t know until it hits, really.
Given that Ele is an A tier DPS right now and the rotation is kind of braindead, I fully expect the build/rotation to become more complex and also for the damage to go down. It probably does need the rework, but there’s almost no chance it doesn’t come with incidental nerfs (as it seems a good chunk of the rework is just gutting the talents that make up the braindead lightning build).

FotM changes, so just pick what you like.
My disc priest isn’t 80 yet, so not sure how they are at max, but i played about 7 random BGs and was amazed at how durable he is.
I tend to play pally, and shaman the most.
