Been a weird string of dungeons lately where the dude hard carrying the group and going fast was getting vote kicks. Thankfully they would fail but then someone else would drop from the group usually a DPS or a healer. The reason would be something like “To fast” or “bad” despite no one dying and group proceeding at a good pace.
To those people, please stop. If I wanted to go slow and enjoy the story I would be doing Legion content on retail right now on a level appropriate character. Remix and Timerunning are meant to be as fast as possible because people are overpowered gods, it even tells you flat out at character creation it is a fast paced game mode.
If you want to go slow and experience things? Make your own groups or play retail, but don’t try to force the rest of the group to slow down.

So long as you’re all keeping up, then there’s really no problem. If you want hard dungeons, do m+. I did my very first m+ today. It was a +17. We nuked it. The last time I did m+ was back in bfa.

People are weird and stuff like this goes to show they dont have common sense. Biggest advice I could give them is just shut up and enjoy the carry if they wanna stick to remix, or just do questing and research i guess.

If you want to speed run the dungeons or put any specific expectations on the dungeon at all… build a pre-made group…
If you are using the Dungeon finder expect people to have differing opinions on what makes the game fun and what they want out of it…

Just have a bit of common courtesy towards each other.
If over-geared, don’t just blow through trash leaving everything alive with 2% HP with lowbies / low geared players straggling behind dying to all the unavoidable stuff, and don’t zerg rush pull every boss while the group is just two seconds from making it through the door.
If under-geared, use your speed and self defensives / abilities to do what you need to try and keep up and stay alive - don’t stand around at the dead boss looking through all the loot trying to decide which item to equip or wander off to loot 2 bronze.
And if you want a ‘play it my way or else’ run - whatever that entails - make your own group

If you wanted no other players input then do the dungeon solo.
You don’t want others to force you into their playstyle as you try to force everyone into your playstyle
Your wants and desires are no more important than their wants and desires.

You’re right, the group isn’t just about me but that one person is making an attempt to force the rest group, that wants to go fact, to go at their own pace. If one person wants to go slow while the other four want to go fast? That one person can leave.

“So guys we doing this fast or slowing it down?” if you have one holdout for slow let them know they will be asked to follow the rest, leave or be removed.
or does everyone just shut up and roll their eyes thinking: “O.M.Fn.G. Who’s whining now??”

Agreed… Find out the majority group opinion and then let people know how the run will proceed… That said if you are the minority then either deal or take the “L” route.
It would actually be faster on retail since you’d one shot every mob and could run past them without aggroing. 
Also, hard carrying? In a heroic dungeon? Lol. Lmao even. Sounds like people are getting kicked for making the dungeon miserable for the other 4 people, which I agree with.

Ya I don’t understand that. You’re gaining obscene power throughout the mode to do exactly that, destroy. They need to play a different mode at that point.

If Dungeon finder matched people based on Ilvl and play preference then sure… Instead what you get is low geared people waiting to respawn after being stunned and killed 30yds in or being on a slower class and just trying to catch up to the DH tank…
Going at a brisk pace is one thing… Total disregard is something else.

a proper gaming experience is one that provides a challenge. mental stimulation. a possibility of failure. Where your wits and preparation are needed to accomplish victory.

Get a group of low-geared 80’s and start pushing keys. I guarantee you’ll find it challenging with a possibility of failure. Or just play retail.
Doing trivial content in a meme game mode where people are running around with 300% vers and then complaining that you can’t take timeouts to strategize is a self-inflicted problem.

People have this neurotic idea that dungeon runs have to go a very specific OCD way. Only the tank is allowed to pull! Healers should be only be casting heals! Ranged dps must stand at maximum coward range! And any mobs left alive in combat behind you is some kind of moral failure, even if they are too weak to hurt anyone.
It’s funny how many ppl don’t understand that remix is supposed to be a power trip.
