If I use a trinket to increase my intelligence after using Ebon Might - what happens?

If I use a trinket like the Irideus Fragment to increase my intelligence after using Ebon Might, does the main stat increase transfer to my allies or do I need to use the trinket before casting Ebon Might?

In a similar vein, if I use a trinket to gain mastery AFTER casting empowered spells, does the increased mastery add to the versatility my allies got from the empowered spells or do I need to use the mastery trinket before casting empowered spells?

Typically a Trinket effect is applied with conditions at the time it was used. Similarly most spells that have conditions, will trigger at cast time with the conditions present at that time. So generally, it’d be a good idea to amp your int (with the trinket) before casting Ebon Might.

That’s not to say there are no spells that are monitoring stats every second and would adapt regardless of cast order, but most don’t do that.

You log out of WoW, suddenly realizing that with your new intelligence you could make a killing if you spent your time day trading instead.

I don’t know if this is the right answer, but I always use those stat increasing abilities/items before putting buffs on allies.

Guides online and videos of augmentation say use trinkets after so I guess it must apply retroactively?

Anyone actually test it out? Please let me know the results. I might try to test it when I have time later.
