Everyone tells me its super easy solo but I have doubts.
Don’t see why not.
Absolute worst case scenario you might need to shell out some gold to convince a tank to come for it (like 60g) if you’re in a hurry but otherwise you’ll be fine.
AFAIK its not soloable at 60. Haven’t found any guides or footages for it either. Its a pretty long gauntlet and the Fel Guards hit like a truck, even if you keep 1 enslaved and another banished i don’t see how you wouldn’t get overwhelmed.
Of course they do. 
I’d say find a good guild and they’ll help. Find other warlocks who need to do it, since you can all get it done at the same time and save money on the mats.

I did not think it was actually real but def saw them advertising this for 5000 gold today
I did it a few months back to help my wife and a guildie get theirs. Unless there is some pathing to abuse, I don’t think it would be solo friendly.

Even if you could path abuse the fel guards the chip damage from imps will get you, specially since it’s legitimately a ~~5 mins gauntlet.
Helped quite a few people with it and i find it very fun to heal, which means a decent amount of damage is going out lol.
