I’m never going to kill another blue dragon. I’ve been farming there for months, off and on, hours at a time. I sometimes think they don’t actually drop it at all.
They drop. I’ve gotten 3.
It took me about 50hrs of farming before my 1st one dropped while on my hunter, then I had 2 more drop in less than 2 hours of farming it on my mage.

I am pushing about 700 kills. From what I’ve seen there are people who have gotten 2-3, and then there are those that never see it drop. I have had 2 guild mates say they have gotten 3 so far…
I put about 45-50 hours into it solo farming before phase 2 came out. Once AV was announced I gave up because you can get a quiver with the same attack speed and only two less arrow slots.

i’ve been seriously thinking of doing this too. You can actually make progress toward it and also get things like the av epic ring too~
Your dragon sinew plight is my crusader enchant plight. Killing the same seven spellbinders for a couple hours a day, for weeks. Never seen a drop.
Wait, those are not vendor trash? Doh.

It’s basically identical to the AV one. I think it has 2 more slots? You have more patience than I did.
I tracked about 2.5k kills with out it dropping then quit farming it. I will swing through there looking for ore and pop a mageweaver or two but I am done farming for it. Quit farming for it the day AV launched.
I never tracked time or kills, but it took me just over 2 full quivers of arrows to get it to drop.
Yep.
I got mine way before AV launch, and haven’t exactly regretted that purchase, but would just get the AV quiver in today’s environment.
I checked my 2 aucton houses. Each one has a sinew for sale – for 500g.
Is that a lot of gold for a level 60? Probably, but I don’t know.
it’s a decent amount of gold.
