If factions are so important for the game

Then why not have more factions?

Why not balance the factions they have?

Why not have story for both factions instead on CONSISTENTLY favoring one faction over the other?

Why does one faction have literally everything a faction can get, while the other faction begs for better content then get told that factions are vital to the game while ignoring them every time?

Why have factions when one of them has their development done first and foremost then blame the other faction for not having the content done before release and jokingly blame the players for it.

What are the upsides for the neglected faction? Why have so much hate for a faction they control? Why always leave the faction for after thought and ask for praise later? Why should we be happy with a non fist pump story? Why is one factions players more important then the others?

TLDR: Blizzard says something is vital while ignoring that thing every second they get, essentially giving less and excepting praise.

Oh and happy Sunday

I think this is WAY too much of a request. They’d have to redo like every zone in the game to account for to add in another faction.

Because Blizz doesn’t know what they’re doing, or they don’t know how bad the imbalance at the highest levels is now.

Intentional Horde favoritism doesn’t exist.

Oh, the rest of this post is just a whiny Alliance “OMG HORDE FAVORITISM” post. I got suckered in thinking this was a legit thread. I guess it is Sunday after all.

This is a lot of words for simply saying Horde bias

Yeah, I feel disappointed too.

The typical “Horde Bias” thread.

“The Horde gets everything they want, as long as you ignore the fact the Horde is getting next to nothing they want”.

Literally the only thing I liked about the Horde story/content in BfA was the Zandalari. Everything else sucked.

Too be fair, the OP says ‘Happy Sunday’ at the bottom of her post.

I dunno about this thread. The whole faction bias thing…

Blizzard is biased toward :moneybag: :moneybag: :moneybag: and nothing else.

The real faction conflict here is players vs blizzard

Exactly this.

This is the reason I don’t think intentional Horde favoritism exists, if Blizzard is so focused on that sweet sweet $$$, why would they intentionally alienate half the playerbase?

When you realize that your opponent can directly nerf you.

Meanwhile my soul is getting crushed.

Ehh there is a lot of bravado complaints about favoritism that is probably blown out of proportion for sure. However the “player created issue” rebuttal is just as bad of a deadpan argument as well. Players don’t exactly cause this imbalance issues with out a prior effect from development side albeit racials, race design options, artwork ect. It is a domino effect that always beings development side and the longer it goes or went unresolved the harder it is to remedy.

Both factions are product of blizzard if unbalance is happening it kinda is their problem because they are basically failing to sell a certain part of their product via customer satisfaction.

There is always the tinfoil hat possibility that imbalance is on purpose for some long term plans of making cash shop service profits too, but I let others speculate the validity of that.

Yeah, while I agree the faction conflict is overplayed, I felt frustrated at the story the Horde got for BFA. It was clunky, and felt in parts cringeworthy and far too edgy for its own good. Not to mention the awful, awful capital city we got…

Played Horde exclusively 'til BFA, but that finally gave me the drive to check out the other side. And I don’t regret it! But seriously, the whole ‘Horde Bias’ thing is hyperbolic as hell.

The only real problem with the Horde is that an increasing majority of people are playing it - but that happens in literally every game with two sides. Quite literally all of them.

It’s a foregone conclusion and shouldn’t be taken as proof that the Horde are somehow attracting people because they’re better, or more loved - people just want to play with their friends.

As some one who mains a DK on both Alliance &Horde I wonder the same thing. Why can’t I be neutral with both the Alliance & Horde while also being a member of the Ebon Blade?

Happy Sunday to you too, mate!

As long as you understand with that neutrality means you get no quest lines, no access to cities and all of their amenities.

It’s a Dr. Evil level plan to drive paid faction changes!

I’m 100% fine with that. I’ll just become a quest giver and make the players do shifty things that they won’t morally agree with.
