If Every Voice Mattered

…then you would have listened to the fans, over the decade, of WoW and never have allowed Retail to get this bad. When you add something to make it better you don’t destroy the foundation it was built on.

If they listened to every voice, they would have went out of business years ago because the vast major of those voices have no clue just how bad their suggestions are.

oh and the lawyer they have overseeing all this mess that has become, has ?!

I disagree. Sadly, if every voice was heard and catered to this game would literally be unplayable.

Not to mention out of business years ago for going wildly over budget and introducing all sorts of placeholder_adjective stuff.

Blizzard never learned that Malcolm Gladwell phrase “There is no perfect Pepsi, there are only perfect Pepsis”

The Bleeding Edge Raider they have running things is the hammer than sees everything as a nail.

Pointing out that Blizzard isn’t infallible in no way contradicts that most ideas spouted by most fans are not very good.

they listened to people in WOD. The preaches and asmomolds. No “forced” rep grinds, dailies. Mob grind for rep, casuals shafted, severely nerfed LFR, and all raiding all the time. It didnt do well.

That statement is proof they are liars and will do anything opposite of what they say that will make them money.

Wow would have been shut down when the first ________ is better than wow, wow should shut down thread occurred.

Also 90% of the ideas gen discussion has are awful and would only expedite this game shutting down.

Not every voice speaks. Do the silent still matter? How could Blizzard possibly know what every single player wants? How could they possibly deliver what every single player wants?

You prove his point, before joining Blizz Ion was big on Elitistjerks. Also, Blizzard is heavily team oriented in its decisions. The team leaders mostly just make sure everything works so one of Blizz’s weakness is actually the lack of a central vision. The only people with core vision are the suits and their goals are never in line with the consumer. (Keep in mind the words i’m using here are not a perfect fit because my vocab seems to have left the building)

Sortof. The “reee of the day” back then was player housing. We got garrisons.

Blizzard is bowing to my every whim now? Cool!

I just alienated a sizable portion of the playerbase, yay!

You can’t stop Pandaren DH and Paladins Felsavior……

Im going to quote an old friend of mine. “The best and worst thing about Blizzard is that they DO listen to their fans.”

Every voice does matter because knowing where to go matters and knowing where to avoid matters.

I thought “every voice matters” was referring to their employees?

Trying to imagine a game that includes and excludes everything I’ve seen here over the years. It’s taking me to a dark place. :scream_cat:

I much prefer how WoW is lately than how it started. Legion was one of the best expacs, and while they did make some pretty bad choices in bfa, it’s still quite a good game.
