If DPS were Height

Posted this earlier in General but meant to post in Rogue forums.

I think a lot of people struggle to relate to the DPS log numbers and for whatever reason try to minimize differences that are massively significant in any real context.

If you take the current median CN DPS performance of each class and equate it to average US height, below is how tall an average male member of each spec would be (average male US height is 5’9):

Spec Height
Balance Druid 6’4
Affliction Warlock 6’2
Fire Mage 6’1
Windwalker Monk 6’0
Unholy Death Knight 5’11
Shadow Priest 5’11
Marksmanship Hunter 5’10
Destruction Warlock 5’10
Feral Druid 5’10
Elemental Shaman 5’10
Outlaw Rogue 5’10
Fury Warrior 5’9
Demonlogy Warlock 5’9
Retribution Paladin 5’9
Enhancement Shaman 5’8
Frost Mage 5’8
Havoc Demon Hunter 5’8
Survival Hunter 5’7
Frost Death Knight 5’6
Assassination Rogue 5’6
Arms Warrior 5’6
Arcane Mage 5’6
Beast Mastery Hunter 5’5
Subtlety Rogue 5’5

If I’m putting together a basketball team of people I don’t know I’m probably bringing very few 5’5 players even though of course it’s entirely possible for a 5’5 player to be better than a 6’4 player.

when a lead gets your sub rogue application its like a 5’5 man just applied for the boyfriend position on tinder to a girl with multiple doctor-lawyer 6’4 balance druid texts asking to smash

Buddy, if I’m running horse races, you better believe it’s gonna be sub rogues for days. Get these NBA ready balance druids off my livestock.

Legit example of ‘you vs the guy she told you not to worry about’

Always hating on Mugsy Bogues…
