No, and the only place class stacking is really a thing in RWF. Raid buffs have to be balanced around anyways.

Was this a pug and that is what ended up joining? Were you guys specifically looking for shamans and paladins? Did people just want to go on their shamans and paladins? Were you trying to overcome something within the raid that you specifically needed this raid comp?

Class stacking is usually situational to the boss, or because that class has the best dps output and you just put in as many as you can to overcome something. 99.9999% of the time class stacking is 100% not needed. People arent in that type of area of the game where its required.

So just get rid of raid buffs. That leech would just mean 1 dk is required because the bosses would have to be balanced around the increased healing done and then if you dont have one then it just makes things harder. There are pros and cons to everything and in my opinion getting rid of all raid buffs is the better choice. The top is going to influence the bottom no matter which way, at least there isnt a “you need this this and this to do the content because its balanced around it”.

Or you just go straight authoritarian and make it so there has to be 1 of each class before you can add others of the same class.

Removing raid raid buffs causes raid class stacking.

Unless you want to see raids stack a bunch of off-healing dps specs or paladins rethink your stance.

You do know I have been saying that in wrath you needed diseases up to get damage on abilities like Scourge Strike, Heart Strike, Obliterate, Blood Strike, Frost Strike, healing for Death Strike for about 6-8 years right. Its pretty clear that you dont know what most used abilities means and you dont know that glyph of disease refreshed both diseases after they were up for a single rune.

Dont go around telling people to git good when you dont even know these basic things.

They are making an arguement we shpuld give a raid buff. Historically DK’s did provide one before they first removed horn of winter.

They were able to provide 4. Abominations Might, Improved Icy Talons, Ebon Plaguebringer and Horn of Winter which all of these were covered by other classes and specs as well.

New description;

Horn of winter: Blow the horn of winter granting you 25 runic power and calling forth the chill of death to attach to your and your allies weapons granting the buff deathly frost-bitten armaments.

Deathly Frost-Bitten Armaments: your weapon has been chilled by death itself causing your weapon strikes to deal an extra shadowfrost damage (baised on weapon damage) to the target for every auto swing and leeching health from the target from the damage done.

Much more likely would converting Icy Talons to haste rating and applies a % to your party.
