I find hiding problems usually solves them.
Didn’t that company get shut down? How accurate are, or should I say, were they? Are they just accurate because it validates your believes?
so explain to the moron, how this company is allegedly tracking the information?
Well, that works for every politician.
I distinctly remember Ion apologizing on a Lore interview to fury warriors (during Legion) for ignoring their correct predictions during beta testing.
Problem is, even after saying “actions speak louder than words” they continued to ignore that same sort of feedback going forward-- and still do. Azerite armor? Covenant Abilities?
Maybe for Ted Kennedy. But not for some of the other ones
It’s worked rather well for Bill Clinton. A lot of people still love the guy.
No thanks. Refusing to address consistent issues can and will kill the game. I will be vocal about it until things change or the lights shut off.
Let’s just say that cigar didn’t stay in the closet. Pretty much all out there for everybody to see. And see, you’re right, he survived it and is still widely liked. So why hide from the problems.
Embrace the problems because no one cares? You might be on to something.
I am sorry but nothing, literally nothing beats gold for cash in the Blizz.
Specially when most of the FFXIV shop is boosts no one uses, cheap cosmetics and some expensive multiseater mounts.
Thats because FFXIV is a whole game where instead of the latest patch’s content being the only relevant thing ever while the previous 16+ years of content is relegated to cosmetics farm at best.
It might seem horrible if you try to take the idea of the MSQ and apply it to WoW, but thats 100% because they are different games. FFXIV doesnt forget the RPG in MMORPG, WoW makes most of its content easy to discard and forget come next patch.
In WoW you have to level up to play, FFXIV has an actual game where you gain absolutely nothing from rushing all unga bunga to max level.
No, Superdata was acquired by Nielsen back in like 2018 and they downsized it and just rolled it into the sports section because the bulk of what it did anyway was e-sports analysis. That said, they did dabble in other things like WoW metrics for a bit briefly but as I said, were more interested in the growing craze of e-sports. Them proving e-sports to normies were actually a growing market is why a lot of places like Buffalo Wild Wings actually televises League of Legends events because they’ve seen there’s a huge demand for it.
Nielsen is literally the name associated with TV ratings. You tell me how accurate or credible that is. If you think of anything pertaining to ratings, Nielsen is pretty much the front of your mind whether you know it or not. They’re very well known for their analytics. They have access to a lot of data.
Nah, I’ve disagreed with them a lot over personal bias. Like I like a show but it’s not actually well liked so I dislike that but I don’t write it off because I realize they know a hell of a lot more than I would.
They have access to company data that you and I will never see just on request alone. Their name carries a lot of weight.
You can also have the entire alt experience on the same character, since all jobs and profs are available. So rehashing it isn’t the same drudgery.
weird, because i’d never even heard of them.
nor does their website seem to mention anything about involvement in the gaming industry.
(no doubt i’m looking in the wrong place)
That too.
And with Data center crossplay, the need for any kind of alts in FFXIV is even lower.
I know the feedback is largely negative around here, because people are largely unhappy - well disappointed. Not all mind you, but it seems to be around here the flavor of the day. But if it were my business, I’d rather know what’s really up - the good, the bad and the ugly.
There was a lawyer once that had his wife work as his secretary - she would not show him anything she thought would upset him or stress him out. He lost his license to practice law because of that for a little while. She, funnily enough, was not allowed to be his secretary anymore - per the Law Society. So you know, you kinda wanna see it all.
That’s entirely your fault. If you knew a thing about analytics at all you’d be acquainted with Nielsen. You living under a rock and not knowing who they are is on you.
