Wasted it doing what humans have been doing for 10,000 years? Arguing and fighting amongst ourselves over trivial, mundane matters? Well, at least thatâs what some of us are doing on this forum.
Iâm no fan of wPvP (although even on my PvE server, I did help out during some SS/TM battles back in my day, and with the shadowpriest wife, we facemelted a horde 60 shammy that kept terrorizing Astranaar while we were leveling there. We went back at 60 and destroyed him), but I still understand the significance of those things for other people.
I also agree that the major cities should not be sharded EVER. Too much of note happens in cities, and while much of it can still be accomplished through grouping, I donât really think it should be that way.
Some people try to paint me as someone that wants sharding everywhere because I donât want the inconvenience of other players around. Itâs simply not true. I agree with you about the fact that I donât see sharding being avoided. I donât mind the competition and seeing other people in the world. I just donât want to deal with hundreds of people in the tiny starting zones (and yes, there will be hundreds in each starting zone at launch on every server), all zerging for the same things. It didnât happen that way in live, and every private server launch that was that way was a complete disaster and unplayable.
Classic needs to be as close as possible to what Vanilla was, but also be as smooth as they can make it. Classic proponents should want it to be as playable as possible so that it gets more people hooked, which will lead to healthier economies, healthier guilds, a healthier raid scene, healthier worldPvP scene (for those into that sort of thing), and healthier game overall.
Instead of telling people to âgo play BfAâ, they should be welcoming them.
A healthier Classic means a healthier World of Warcraft.
Yes you have and yes you do on multuple occasions.
No I am not trying to ilicit a negative response just pointing out your double standards.
Also no i am not going to get on discord to listent to your self intitled banter.
As for flagging not once have i ever flagged one of your posts and that also includes on the old forums with your other character.
I acutally might have ever flagged 3 posts on the forum since it switched to the new format. So there is a other paranoid delusion you and others seen to have. Not everyone who disagrees with you or your ideas and suggestions flags posts.
Youâre going to have to give me some examples kid. Youâve never once called Mogar out for his incredible hypocrisy but here you are, going after me. Iâve offered you a chance to settle our personal dispute on Discord but youâre too much of a coward.
Honestly⌠the worst type of player is the one who thinks they are fantastic, and then generalizes everyone else. Its ironic too, but thats how it really is.
Theres countless people across countless server types that are genuine good people. To in any way claim otherwise, or to try and rank them as if you have met anywhere near all of them is a really bad look.
Didnât take long for me to quote Blizzard where I see fit and ignoring them otherwise? Because if you spent 10 seconds following the comment chain, instead of bandwagoning on me youâd actually find the context of this conversation.
I am all for sharding in the starting zones. In the long term it will make everyone starting out have a much more enjoyable experience. They have stated that it will be only for a short time, and in the starting zones and this makes a lot of sense.
For those of you who keep forgetting - they also stated that it would not be for other zones or late game. In the case of world bosses, and opening the gates of AQ Blizzard said there would only be one per realm, period.
This is not Vanilla, this is Classic. Bring on Vanilla with sprinkles!
I can hear that line a million times from a million beings, of mortal or god. I donât have faith. Blizzard will slowly sneak it in to cut costs on hosting and hardware.
Iâve played on every server type from vanilla to bfa. I even played on official non US servers a few times. The worst communities Iâve stumbled on in terms or personality, community interaction, and to be frank⌠skill level⌠PVE servers are by far the worst. RPPVE at least had a humble edge to them. PVE servers are packed with easily enraged mouth breathers that are impossible to talk to.
It makes no difference. You havent met everyone on every server. I know this is going to fall on deaf ears because of the way you responded and doubled down on a gross generalization but Ill try anywayâŚ
Your anecdotal experiences are your own, and they do not accurately reflect the experiences and memories of others. Attempting to extrapolate your sole experiences across entire populations (in this case this games population grew as high as 11 million or more) is as ignorant as it is inaccurate.
