I think one of the reasons we didn’t go to the Rootlands in Season 3 in The War Within was because in Dragonflight, we had Amirdrassil as the Season 3 patch and having two nature/druid themed end patches would have had people up in arms. At least a few people could claim Blizzard is repeating DF S3 with a slightly different theme (now it’s nature underground and with 100% more roots).
I also feel people would have been screaming from the high hills that druids are getting too much content even if druids weren’t the main focus of the zone.
That being said, do people think having the Rootlands be the first or second major patch in Midnight is a good idea, or should the Rootlands be a sub patch within a major patch?

I think I’d prefer it to be a sub patch like Siren Isle. I want the race and characters to be expanded on but I think I’d rather them be a part of the larger plot rather than the focus of the plot.
I don’t mind the increase in attention to druids, there is a lot of plot about the nature of Azeroth but I’d like to see shamans get a little bit more too. Shamanism and Druidism go hand-in-hand imo.

Well, they could put it into a square, and just call it Lands.

I hope that the 2nd or 3rd patch is about the Draenei and their new city.
I honestly think that whole part was just abandoned and will never see the light of day.
More like too late from my perspective. They are obviously milking it because everyone wants it and has been expecting it for like 12 months now.
