If Blizzard changed a bit of retail

To be a bit similar to that of Classic, after Classic’s release, would this bother you?

They already tried that and people flipped out.
Slowing down levels, adding more mobs to dungeons to make CC mandatory (didn’t work btw), amongst other things.

Anything that makes the game take slightly longer or make it any harder, people will throw fits over.

I don’t play it so no

With Classic being there for the people who want that design, I’d be confused more than anything if they started making BfA more like Classic.

It wouldn’t entice those of us who want Classic. We’re already playing Classic at that point.

and it would just piss off the people who actually do like BfA.

If that wasn’t what Retail players wanted, it would bother me because those players would blame WOW: Classic and Classic players for the changes.

(It’s already bad enough that some people are using WOW: Classic as their scapegoat for why Retail isn’t what they want.)

It wouldn’t bother me, but others may throw fits.

If I could get one change though I would like to see more class distinction in retail than there is currently. I started leveling a Warlock alt, but I’ve run out of motivation because it doesn’t seem substantially different from my mage.

Reported as spam…Take this to the Retail forum…

If it’s on here, people like you complain.
If it’s on the retail forums, other people will complain.

It does involve changing retail, so it shouldn’t really be here, but… It doesn’t really matter either way since this will turn into a Classic discussion anyway.

If this would actually ‘bother’ anyone then they need to reevaluate their priorities IMO. Honestly I would be 100% for them completely changing retail to go back to a vanilla-esq type of gameplay. Seeing new content in the game style of vanilla would be awesome. But idk retail is sort of too deep to fix…people with 1000 mounts, achievs, 50 races, dks…monks…demonhunters… it would take a miracle.

There are two very different audiences, so there are two different games. One for each audience.
Taking away the retail crowd’s game so the Classic crowd has two games they like is selfish.

It was called Cataclysm…and the cry babies almost drowned in their own tears.

This post like so many are just FORUM CLUTTER and doesn’t even belong here.

Right, but you feel the need to tell people you reported them for spam. How is that any different?

At this point, retail definitely needs to be gutted and rebuilt on a foundation that rewards slower, better co-ordinated and more intelligent play from gamers. There are enough brain dead, cash shop, zerg-fests disguised as games available these days. Blizzard isn’t even close to being an industry leader in that space and they need to make drastic changes to save the intellectual property from being further tarnished and crippled beyond repair.

I agree completely. And yet we have retailers here asking to change classic every day.

Yeah, but every post you make (as far as I’ve seen) is just trash talking and telling people to shut up.

The average Retailer doesn’t even come here I bet. We just get the trouble makers lol

OP are you serious?
Look at more classic oriented changes blizzard has tried over the years to see how much retailers have enjoyed them
Remember the outrage over Cataclysm style dungeons?
Remember the outrage over Allied Races and Pathfinder? anything that has a great reward locked behind long term goals?
Retailers hate that crap.

On top of you harassing people in every thread you’re in.

Allied races are time gated and poorly implemented… Unlike most Classic rewards.

But your point is accurate nonetheless.
