I know they said no more customization planned for this expansion but if we tell them what we want we can at least make sure we get it next expansion. So might as well start.
Void Elf: More Blood Elf options transferred over, like hair color, ear length, and some jewelry. Some unique jewelry options and colors, Void markings such as tattoos or scars. Maybe some corruption
Lightforged: Tail and Tentacle lengths and thickness. New hairstyles, some darker skintones. More sigils and tattoos.
Highmountain; More antler types, markings and tattoos. More fur options from normal tauren. Maybe a unique decoration in contrast to the flowers like feathers.
Nighborne; more arcane tattoos and markings, more jewelery styles and decorations, more skin tones, donāt have to be the same as what night elves have but similar, maybe with a more blue tinge for arcane. Thinner face options, eye color options.
Aside from allied races, Iād also like to get the chiropractor orcs got for worgen.
Just remove all restrictions, let everyone use everyone elseās hair styles and colors, restrictions are crap and nobody likes them. This is a game where you can play as a cow riding a rooster for a mount, itās time to stop being so uptight.
Itās all good, i just thought i should clarify, didnāt want anyone thinking that i was saying it was going to be as easy as checking some boxes in a list and all the stuff is now available lol
yeah no none of this is gonna be super easy since a lot of making sure things mesh. Even the skin stuff for void elves took a bit to get the underwear right.
Uh Please share if you know people that might have ideas. least we can do is make sure it becomes talked about enough Blizz will notice and all. I donāt want this becoming a shouting match though lolā¦
There have been mountains of feedback provided all throughout the time since the first instance of us seeing the customization options in the middle of Blizzcon 2019. Itās not because of a lack of information or feedback. Itās because they donāt wanna do it right now.
The problem, and reason why people are pissed, is because they had made it seem like customizations would continue to be something focused on. Then we get told randomly in the middle of a Q&A thatās no longer the plan. People feel baited. Thatās the problem.
Scars for every race.
More hair styles that arenāt bold.
Tattoos and more war paint.
Blind eyes for every race.
One blind eye in combination with every eye color, and for both sides.
More body types.
Also a lot more. I am very negative after Blizzcon.
A lot of artists have been doing their job for them for free. They just donāt apparently feel that more customization is better. They constantly restrict transmog if itās ātoo sillyā, they restrict toysā¦
They spend a lot of time trying to combat customization in this game because some people who donāt play your characters have visions of what your characters should be in an RPG.
They honestly feel like they went above and beyond with this latest effort, and they certainly didā¦ For a few races. God forbid anyone who wants to play a Nightborne.
Weāve provided so much feedback on customisations its nuts. Hell, one personās gone about to editing the models to show how stuff would work. And heās done dang good work.
More body types so you can have a bulkier troll and FINALLY FOREST TROLLS PLAYABLE, straight backed Forsaken, tails for worgen, tattoos for BElves, asymmetrical Mechagnome customisation so you donāt have diaper gnomes and can instead have āGnome with single mechanical armā, beards for trolls, more impressive beards for humans, vrykul-ish customisation for Kul Tirans, just all sorts of stuff for Nightbourne to bring them more in like with what people were hoping for from the NPC models
One blokeās gone and done all that with just the ingame models.
Hereās the customization option I want the most: reduced restrictions on the classes each race can play. Give monk to the remaining three races that donāt yet have it. Let Zandalari be warlocks. Let Dranei be warlocks. Let Gnomes be paladins. Iām sure thereās several other options that people want.
