If Arathi Highlands has to be shared so should Lordaeron

So the current lore is Horde aligned Mag’har now control part of Arathi Highlands. Sounds like turn about is fair play and that the human survivors of Lordaeron managed to return and take a bigger chunk of Lordaeron back.

Oh and look,Midnight is an example dealing with the Quel’thalas elves who also conviniently live near Lordaeron.

During the Battle for Stromgarde it was Blackrock clan, the Bloodknights and the Darkspear we were dealing with. They wanted it to serve as a launching point for a campaign against Gilneas.

I wanna say they just picked that spot because Arathi Highlands is the closest Azeroth has to Nagrand.

Also, the previous orc encampments there, like Hammerfall, were relics from when the Old Horde was running rampant across Azeroth.

It was an internment camp before that, like Durnholde.

Hammerfall also has a reputation for being a place for outcasts.

Yes this is basically it. Still, my point is if the Alliance is forced to reverse one of its victories in BFA in the name of peace, so should the Horde. And Lordearon would be that place.

There are no human survivors of Lordaeron. The Scarlet Crusade was routed. As Chronicle 3 states, Lordaeron belongs to the dead. Only now, they are the Forsaken.

What, do you think Turaylon is chopped liver? There are tons of suviving Lordaeron, they however are currently living in Stormwind and also, a per Exploring EK, Stormwind has recently retaken Southshore.

Yes I do think Turalyon is chopped liver

I dont wanna be near all those Forsaken characters, creepy!

Under city was not a victory for the Horde during BFA

There are no human survivors of Lorderon left there. Not to mention the place has been excessively tainted by blight and all the various things the Forsaken has been up to over the decades. Lordearon isn’t the spot to pick.

On top of that the undead living there are made up of a LOT of the previous residents while they were alive. It would be asking them to further give up the last tiny shred of something linking them to their living past. And they don’t have much of that left at this point.

It wasn’t a defeat either, and more tactical retreat. Still, my point stands, if the Alliance has to share its zones with the Horde, so should the Horde share its zone with the Alliance.

I’m pretty sure pirates control the zone.

No, it was absolutely a defeat.

Your point is the Horde should have a victory reversed.

What is even worse is things like this tend to come across like “Alliance have to give up one of its “many” victories so Horde should give up one of its pyrrhic victories for the same reason”.

Thing is, the way Blizzard has written the lore, and continues to do so, is Horde loses when if they win, people would be asking why they can’t/don’t capitalize on said victory and wipe out the alliance from the zone. Only thing is, in this case, there are areas that were part of the Kingdom of Lordaeron, but not Tirisfal. Why could the part of Lordaeron the Alliance gets not be something like Hearthglen in WPL or Strathholme in EPL?

I imagine Eastweald (the now plague lands) will be updated as part of the midnight Eastern Kingdoms revamp

I wouldn’t mind Anderhol 2.0, have the forsaken give up said holding and the Alliance retaking it.

Not likely to happen, pretty much what you want is the Horde to lose what they have while arguing for parity, it is one of those situations that tend to get people asking “think the Alliance “loses” more because they have more to lose?”

But that is exactly what has happened in Stromgarde. Instead of it just being a resounding victory for the Alliance, it had to be reversed so that the Horde still had its place in the zone.

Can only hope. They have been reluctant to do much with the original Azeroth zones since the negative feedback of the Cataclysm.

And, officially, Alliance has had NO PLACE in Lordaeron since Vanilla. So it is more Alliance has to give up a victory for peace and to maintain the status quo, you want the Horde to give up something that shifts the status quo in favor ot the alliance. There are reasons why I suggested Hearthglen and Strathholme:

  1. they are both in neutral territory like Arathi Highlands and Hillsbrad
  2. The horde has no say in what goes on in either of them, as Horde does not hold them, the Argents do
