Anduin may die, but Danduin, his long lost cousin will take the throne. When questioned by the other leaders of the Alliance if Danduin can take such a massive responsibility, he will simply reply, Dan-ed if you do and Dan-ed if you don’t.

I hope Anduin dies and Genn becomes leader of the Alliance. Or the alternative is Turalyon and Yrel make a Light Empire and the Alliance finally get to play the bad guys for an expansion.

That sounds like something Blizzard will do. And when people bring up “Why didn’t she help at Teldrassil” it will some stupid excuse about how “Well the Shadowlands were in chaos” or some bs like that.

Anduin is a cartoon character. He has never been developed by the writers. A lot of people are sick of a character like that and would like to see him gone.

They won’t kill off Anduin. Not when they have given him the perfect setup to be the personification of balance between the Light and the Shadow.
This is just his transition to being a Disc Priest instead of Holy.
What you should be worried about is if he comes out of it alive or some new sort of Undead so he is also the personification of both Life and Death.

No, don’t kill him. Make him go off in search of a new heir like when the King croaked in Shrek 3.
In fact, just make the whole next expansion the plot of Shrek 3.

No… he’s not dead. No one killed him. He’s very much alive and simply being controlled by the Jailer with Domination runemagic. Or are we going to ignore the part where he’s completely normal up until the runes are activated and the Jailer speaks through him, controlling him?
