at lvl 14 me and a friend went to go idol of the wild, didnt stop to emtpy my bags or anything beforehand, we were trying to move quick. well it dropped for both of us but my bags were full, i deleted an item trying to get it but there was no loot on the ground on and npc. so i didnt get the idol when i was supposed to get it. spent about 2 hours in total killing them after the fact and can not get it to drop, please help me
Have you checked your mailbox? Sometimes items like that get sent through the mail if they aren’t looted.
Just to clear a few things up;
I believe the postmaster is mainly only in the retail form of the game.
The item restore only works after you had the item in your bags, not on the body.
GMs use templates to help streamline things, and I believe they can’t help in this event because the have to see the item itself was looted.

it showed in chat i received the item, but didnt actually get it. i think that is more than enough for a gm to be able to handle
You’re welcome to think anything you like, but Blizzard disagrees, and their decision is what really matters.
the difference between this and my issue is, it only can drop once. you arent meant to keep getting the same rune in SOD over and over, its a 1 time thing. the fact that this bug happened means im severely handicapped compared to other feral druids. and its BS that i have to go through this much trouble just to play the game as its intended.
Well, to be frank, the whole point of SoD is making a custom class, to a degree. Even than, that doesn’t mean everyone have to have every skill out there. While I understand you being mad, but it doesn’t help with you blow the overall affect out of the water and making a mountain out of a mole hill. You can still play the class, and you can get the other ones.
Overall, venting about it in the forums in general won’t make it appear, not make the GMs, or even the blues here, make it appear for you. All I can say is take the hit and move on.
the whole point of going druid was this rune, now i cant even play how i wanted. its a simple fix for blizz to see it dropped and just put in the the mail or in my bags. i dont see the issue at hand
I assumed this involved the legion retail quest with the same name since it was posted on a retail character and no mention of Season of Discovery was mentioned in the initial post.
More info is often better than little/none just as a general aside.
