This capstone is terrible. It needs about 1000% more damage.

Most of the talents at the bottom of the tree are kind of lackluster besides the one that spawns more mind flays. That one’s like my favorite Shadow priest talent because it looks really cool when you get like five of them going. In dragonflight I didn’t even use any of them and my damage was perfectly fine.

It is glorified and double capped SW:P/VampTouch damage.
You have zero control when or if it collapses.
It does very low damage, even in M+.
The only “good” thing about it is the name/fantasy/lore.
It has zero redeeming qualities in it’s current implementation.
For it to be good it would need two things:
Damage (current tuning is very low)
Control (let me detonate them at will arguably make it stack only on your prio target and cleave of it)
To be worth a capstone it would need additional:
Synergy with the kit ( reduces some CD, Enhances the rift/halo, something) to be worth taking over any other capstone.
If they are all passive damage, they all don’t exist.
