First, make Ascendance baseline or a shaman talent and give it a little CDR. For enhance this will let us be able have both Ascendance and DRE like in Legion and will bring Ascendance more inline with other class major CDs like meta. I am in favour of making it baseline because it will give all the specs a good CD without worrying about talent choices/builds that support it.
Second, make Earth Shield a buff that doesn’t need to be reapplied when the stack are consumed and make a talent that when applied to another player when the shield heals a portion of that heal goes to the shaman, so applying this to a tank would give us a nice little passive healing. I think something like this would greatly improve Enhance survivability in higher content.
Finally, increase our melee range by just a little to let enhance stand out a little while still being able to do our building of Maelstrom. It makes no sense that a caster class like Shaman is stuck up a bosses butt but a tanky class like Paladin gets to stand a million miles away and still do great damage. Please!
Also heres a two-hander plug for my class fantasy. Screw the haters on this. Blizz can do it without messing with your meta builds, so save your breath. I dont care what reasons you have to hate this idea. It would be cool.

They’ve actively removing the extra range that most melee DPS get so good luck with that one
It just makes sense thematically.
The only melee that should have increased melee range is Survival because it fits thematically(spears have extra range) and they kind of need it since hunters are also really squishy.
Feral druids and rogues that are fighting with paws or small weapons having super long arms is really weird. Ret is far too tanky to justify the reach.
