I know there isn’t a set level but what is the optimal ilvl to be before queing?

I would say minimum 626

Just queue when you can with full honor gear. You aren’t the only one bringing alts and honor gear into blitz.

That’s what I’m doing, trying to find a dps spec I vibe with that I’ve got at 80 already so I don’t have to level another flipping toon but I’m pretty bad with them all.
