The Felstone incident showed that there had been a split amongst the Forsaken for quite a while, but Sylvanas has always been enthusiastic about curbing dissent.
Sure some expansions have made her seem heroic, but she has always had a hand in humanoid experimention. Half of the missions she sends you on as a forsaken npc puts you as the clean-up crew for some truely evil stuff (normally when the Warchief is around and she has a scapegoat readily at hand.)
Ive played forsaken since vanilla and heck I even spent some time in the guild the Royal Apothecary Society, and The biggest surprise about the burning of Teldrassil for me, was that people were surprised at Sylvanas’ evil shennanigans.
It’s kind of hard to tell whether people here are just bantering about the forsaken or not sometimes. I hope they are, would be kind of depressing otherwise!
Well no. If she found a way to increase the lifetime of the already existing Forsaken, that makes way more sense and there’s really no argument against it
Hackbrew pretty much nailed it on the head for me.
I had something similar in my mind when I read this part. You could add to it in this way.
As she stands before the parapets of Icecrown Citadel thinking of that suicide, Terenas quietly appears before her and says that the Forsaken need her now more than ever. To help lead and protect them post-Arthas era.
