Idea - War mode "In Party Only"

I had an idea! (Gasp.)

A second button can turn on War Mode. It means “I am in War Mode when I am in a party.”

This would allow players to sort themselves in three ways:

  1. War Mode Off - Please don’t let real players hurt me!

  2. War Mode When in a Party - PvP combat with allies is chatty, friendly, and fun

  3. War Mode Always On - I am so studly I dare people to gank me, and reap the most bonus experience as my just reward

Wait what?
So…joining a party turns Warmode on?
That seems overly complicated.
Just turn Warmode on when you’re in a party, and turn it back off when you leave.

Ah, nevermind. In Reddit I found the explanation.

If we did allow turning War Mode on at all rest areas, then people in a rest area being attacked could turn it off when losing a fight, heal up safely, and turn it back on.

So it would be dysfunctional for the losing group in a PvP fight to simply de-group, heal safely, and re-group to continue the fight.
