Idea to make Ironforge, undercity etc more populated

As per title, would be nice to have a portal in Dornogal so we can choose which city we would like to go to. I love Ironforge but it would be nice to see some people there. All that effort to design and program these cities to be forgotten and left for dead.

since they redesigned Stormwind in Cata, they kept pushing it.

Ironforge will always be superior.

Stormwind is nice and all, it has all the portals, easy to navigate but seeing these old cities doing nothing and not appreciated is sad. Most new players will most likely never step foot, let alone know about these cities unless they’re leveling up heirlooms.

Silvermoon City and Exodar are way more behind and need to be updated far more than that Ironforge and stinky city. The latter of which was used in BFA and only needs to be patched to stop porting us to our deaths.

Maybe we can bulldoze over it. Or cremate via mass explosives, which I can engineer some schematics for a very reasonable price, and build a newer, more accommodating to the living members of the Horde, city.

Ironforge, texture update to your tram. Some rooms to accommodate the other races that visit. Maybe some storage alleyways big enough for, let’s say a Tauren or five, that way out of the guards patrolling area for holiday events like fire festival. And a bigger bar! With a grill/cookout area. Bigger than any inn in Stormwind. Y’know, Dwarfed by comparison.

Nooooo. That’s like bulldozing over historical land marks. Cities just need a clean and a polish.

Aren’t they the cities populated during the holidays? :spiral_calendar::robot:

Yeah that’s fine. But why can’t holiday destinations be on the beach, fishing rare fish with friends while having a few brews. We’re acting like these cities are tourist destinations.

I want them to start using stromgarde as a proper alliance city. And so they should then also update hammerfall as a proper horde city!

The site of Arthy’s war crime’s, including regicide? And the stronghold of the genocidal, committed actual Crimes Against Humanity, crazy banshee? Nah, best to disintegrate it, cleanse the dirt and earth, calm all sprits, then rebuild it.

While we’re at it, lets blast apart that monastery to the northeast. Nothing but trouble came from that place. In it’s place, we can build a touristy theme park, and overpriced hotel, and a Starbucks.

Despite any gnomercide or dwarfocide, it’s still historical land marks that weren’t built on that!

Again, touristy theme park, overpriced hotel, and a Starbucks will fix that. Build the park around the throne room. Have a replica King Menethil attire that tourists can take pictures with. Cartoony scourge masks and toy claws for the kids, an Arthas cosplayer they can take pics with, Escape on a Gryphon ride, an evening play depicting the Fall of Lordaeron, etc. Think of the cash that park could make!

I mean they just need to have more current content take place in older zones. They have a whole world to work with, and a truly organic world doesn’t have everything take place simply in “the shiny new place”. Things happen everywhere simultaneously. They’ve done this in the past though, with areas like Vale of Eternal Blossoms in BFA, Barrens and Durotar in MoP, and heck even Zandalar in TWW with Kaja Kola.

I’m hoping Midnight primarily takes place in EK and Kalimdor (I assume it’ll be Ghostlands and Quel’thalas) as it’ll feel good to see people running around in these old areas again.

I love Ironforge especially during Winter’s Veil. The whole area is nice, Loch Modan, Gnomeragan. I port to Itonforge on my mage for AH runs for old time’s sake.

I agree with this so much.

All the major cities should have a portal room. It’s annoying that they have focused so much on pushing everyone into SW or Org. A lot of players identify more with either their race or their class than with their faction.

100 Percent!

I agree. Why didn’t they think of this before? Spread it out. Some of us like other citites.

Absolutely. I have nothing against other races, but I want to stick to my home city. If I’m logging on my dwarf, I wanna be around my dwarf peeps. It’s why these cities were created.

Blizzard have lost their way.

It would be nice to have at least one portal to and from every major city in every expansion place.

That’s exactly what I want. It’s not asking much.

No, it’s not.

And since they were already there in several of the early expansions, they would not be hard to put back.

For example in Pandaria: https: //wowpedia .fandom.com/wiki/Imperial_Exchange

Okay, it’s not “exactly” what I’m talking about, I mean, it’s “exactly” what I would like.
Why you do this this me!? :ok_hand:

And if I’m wrong about what reply to which post I made I’m sorry.
