I know this would be considered a change, but I think that considering how much people pay for talent changes once they are 60, and the tedious work to do so constantly to change into pve or pvp talents, I think it would be a good idea to implement a system where once you reach 60, you are able to pay a fee of let’s say 1,500g (could be lower or higher but I think higher would be best) to be able to get a “dual specialization “ type thing, where you could just switch from pve or pvp spec kinda like in retail. But it would have that high cost in order for people to work towards in and make it kind of like a reward.
I wouldn’t mind keeping it as it is tbh, just curious what people would think. Would love to see some feedback!
just NO. If you do not want the game in all its original glory then do not play it. Stop asking for changes, thats what live servers are for. Classic is not for everybody though everyone will have access to it.
Id like it, as being a main tank, until Fury Prot is viable, I either have to level another character to farm, or respec twice a week.
If it was 2000G it would be worth it, too far out of reach for the usual casual who can choose to respec and pay, and a large up front sum for a hardcord raider that otherwise would cover half a year of respeccing.
Maybe make it 5K even so its a long term investment on only your main character.
Would this new system allow you to dual spec your azurite traits as well, or would those remain fixed if using the same gear set? I’d re-evaluate the cost too, as 1,500g seems a little low considering the broad availability of tokens
Wanna know how much money I spent on talent changes in Vanilla at 60? The cost to change from BM to MM. That was it. After that I never changed talents again. Not everyone feels the need to respect every time they switch what they’re doing. Not everyone min/maxes things to death.
If you want to do that, then you can spend the 50g a respect because you respec to often.
Some people respect multiple times a day. Let’s make that 10 years worth.
400k. And … nope, I’d still tell them to go back to modern wow.
You were never really meant to change specs on a regular basis. If you can swap between two different specializations, it’s not a specialization. People wanting to min/max can pay the fee.
tell that to any class other then a hunter that actually enjoys pvping when they are not raiding, or any healer that enjoys solo farming or dpsing once in awhile, or the prot warrior that gets his shiny new two handerband wants to go pvp with it.
Not every class can do well farming, raiding, and pvping all in one spec :).
