Idea for new Disc Talent/Spell

I have been Playing Discipline priest in all versions of wow for many years now and after the last two seasons of dragon flight I felt that discipline has been forced into some heavy shadow play. I have always preferred a more Disc/Holy hybrid theme and with TWW coming I think thematically this could be achievable.

I present my idea for a new talent/spell
Power Word: Echo
A talent that will replace mind blast and any nodes affecting or affected by mind blast will affect or be affected by Power Word: Echo at 50% value (eg. Schism)
It would be similar to Power Word: Solace in visual effect, act like an offensive Prayer of Mending(PoM) and the tooltip would read

Power Word: Echo: Attach a radiant light to an enemy that will duplicate the next damaging priest ability at 50% effectiveness before attempting to attach to the next closet enemy (5 charges), replaces mind blast (12-15 second cooldown) Instant cast

This echo can be triggered by smite, purge the wicked/shadow word pain and holy nova, for each it would replicate the spell at 50% effectiveness and radius triggering atonement when it makes sense.

I think this could be a fun spell to track while hitting with purge the wicked for small packs of mobs, for large aoe you would pop some holy nova’s and watch it bounce around, and for single target it would add a similar effect that we have on the 4 piece set right now by “double” smiting things-note that the spell wouldn’t have to “jump” targets if their is no other enemies in range.

Would love to hear some feedback on this idea PS i miss power word: solace

Sorry is this not just pres evokers spell called echo but with some aoe function?

Disc does not need another thing to track. It’s already way too heavy on buff monitoring to add more. I would also question why?

Replicating Purge The Wicked at 50% effectiveness, that would be around a 5K heal when transferred through attonement. How would that be worth the amount of extra tracking this spell would cause?

Sorry, hard no from me.
