They should just set it to where if you make you void elf into a high elf you get access to the paladin class. Oh and they should allow you to check a box someone so that you are listed as a “high elf” in your description and not a void elf or blood elf.
It would be a simple text change, but I think it would make an enormous number of people happy and Blizz needs all the good will they can get.

God i wish i still had my old computer where i had managed to take the screenshot of a lifetime.
I was a male blood elf. In a pink evening dress. I managed to stand right next to Varian and pull off a /flirt animation before he aggroed onto me. It was the best picture i had ever taken.

The point of the customization options are to make yourself into high elves though. Everyone knows that already. Blizz just needs to take a small extra baby step and add the option to change it in the description.
If you are walking around as a player with a blue eyed elf you are a high elf. Not a void elf or a blood elf.

No where in the blue text does it mention high elf. It merely gives you the option, as a void elf, to have regular skin tones. You can role play as a high elf all you want (which void elves are anyways), but in the end, you’re a void elf.
Your compromise was the ability to role play as a high elf.

No I just don’t feel like going in circles over some so silly. Everyone knows they are high elves. They were added exclusively because people have been begging for high elves for years. But for some weird reason some people get their trousers in a bunch when people call them high elves.
But if you wanna live in your own little bubble though I won’t stop you. You do you.

I actually wasn’t aware Blizzard has officially called them high elves. I would gladly concede if I saw a source on that.
