As it is, Heroic Leap is a 8-40 yard gap closer on a 45/30 second cooldown. It allows us to, at times, leap onto difficult terrain and deals a minor amount of damage.
If possible, I would love to see a 3 second 70% slow attached to it to help give it a bit more utility. Where Dragon’s Charge has the ability to knock back opponents, Heroic Leap could further assist a warrior’s weakness. However not just a blanket 3 seconds. I would like to see the intensity of the slow be based on range to give it a skill shot aspect. Full 3 seconds for anyone caught within Melee range of the warrior’s landing, 2 seconds for Melee-5 yards. and 1 second for anything after that.
An alternative to this could be a 3 second slow, but based on the proximity, for example for melee a full 70% slow for 3 seconds, melee-5 yards, 60% for 3 seconds, anything beyond 50% for 3 second.
I feel it would be beneficial in both pvp and pve and allow heroic leap to provide warriors with a rewarding ability,
One final thought: If we wanted to take it another step further, we could have a choice node where the slow could be reversed. Where if we leap the point which we leapt from initiates the slow, allowing for strategic escapes or group slows.
