Idea for follower dungeons

In the future I hope they add difficulty scales like delves, maybe just a few tiers that would spawn in mobs you will fight in mythic scenarios.

I only have done normals and heroics while leveling and would like to try mythhics but am afraid/timid to join groups without fully knowing the routes or what to expect vs mythic stam and dmg mobs.

I also want to learn how to play my other specializations against mobs more suited to the ilvl and that’s just not the same with follower dungeons as is.

I know some critics will say this is making the game more single player but its to benefit the multi-player part by preparing a player for challenges without the anxiety of ruining a run. Possibly have achievements for each tier of difficulty per specialization that completed it which could be linked to LFG leaders as proof your experienced on that character for the big leagues.

Unlike delves loot should be drops that max out at hero so you can still get some gear but to get the best gear doing multiplayer grouped m+'s would be the strat.

I was hoping for something along those lines when I heard about follower dungeons. Something I could run to practice tanking/heals on without the pressure of performing for a real group. Unfortunately they are so brain dead easy they aren’t useful for anything other than completing dungeon quests.

Shoot, give it no loot drops at all and it would still be useful for practicing specs I don’t play often. Combine the format of follower dungeons with the MoP training grounds ideas and you would have something useful.

Give it tiers to increase difficulty too. Normal dungeon, Heroic Dungeon, Mythic Dungeon levels to let people face increasing challenge and mechanics.

What you are describing is essentially Mythic 0. Nothing to lose, no timer, and a way to get familiar with mechanics before Affixes kick in at +2. Also, don’t be afraid. Others in 0 are learning too. :+1:

I think delves are fine as is and people need to stop trying to either overtune them or downgrade their gear or add more in there. seems like just about the time we get some fun solo content everybody wants to go change it.
