Idea for crate imbalance

My impression from my own playing as well as other forum commentators is that the horde numbers, even in WM, aren’t much different than alliance. But they don’t realize this and therefore see the crate as a lost cause which becomes a self fulfilling prophecy from a group standpoint, and an inevitable prophecy from an individual’s standpoint.

My suggestion is for Blizzard to implement some message system with the pop-up talking heads which notifies whichever faction has been losing the vast majority of recent crates that their population on that shard/zone are actually pretty competitive. Or some variation of that. Any other ideas appreciated.

Ive played both sides. It’s demoralizing playing as horde, and boring playing as alliance (don’t even have as much motivation to do instanced pvp since I free cap my currencies through crates in a couple of days).

I think the fact it drops so fast now kinda ruins any chance to mount a fight vs the other side. You’re there or you won’t make it. How it was in bfa through df was good.

Honestly. who cares. just let both sides loot it for all that i care. It gets people to turn WM on and gets them doing a thing. its not like honor, token, or conquest farms are some sort of holy relic that we need to protect. All of it is easy, but its all a grind. the crates are minor chips into that grind.

The motivation for this is more about having some fun in wpvp, not about a grind in a bubble, even if there’s rewards involved. There’s currently not even any fights at the crate.

It’s true, whenever one drops in my server I just go there and there are no fights. There used to be at the beginning of the expansion but now there are none.

I think the boxes should take longer before they can be claimed.

Spicy idea: They could add 1 NPC from each faction to fight over it, like a miniboss. This helps iron out one-sidedness, while also making people who go over to the crates cooperate even if there are no horde there.

I think it related to epic random bg as well. If a faction wins a lot in the epic bg, the players in that faction would just queue it to get ez honor and conquest, the other faction cannot get conquest in the bg so they only get crate in the world.

At this time I am typing, I think horde is wining 9 out of 10 epic bg.

Actually, epic bg win rates have nothing to do with faction. It’s whichever side has the premade.

So horde has more premade these days? Is ther a way to see how many premade teams (both ally and horde) are queueing?

Alliance is more numerous I believe. But they can and do merc sometimes.

Nope, not unless you’re a member of some of these communities.
