Now i know mostly everyone is in the no changes club but hear me out, i dont mean expansions in the general sense you can make it alot like how PTR’s work were you could transfer these characters to classic WoW Expansion realms.
Now with that out of the way, in this last classic WoW trailer Chromie had taken a temporal discombobulator and traveled back to the past. What i think would be an awsome idea is because of this Chromie had altered the future and created a seperate timeline one that follows a different expansion set and can follow expansion ideas like the Emerald Dream.
However my wish for this new timeline would be blizzard keep the RPG elements of classic WoW and carry all of that over to this new expansion, 40 man raids rep grinds, and that general hard to get very rewarding feel that classic has given us.
This is an opportunity for Blizzard to start fresh and give us the WoW that we love back, the one we all fell in love with and see that game expanded upon, and not stripped of its identity.
like i said in the post im not implying they touch classic WoW but could make a new timeline from this, reset to level 60 and make expansions based off that, these expansions being on seperate realms to keep ur classic character classic… but could be awsome to see another timeline of WoW could have modern and classic style WoW timelines to play i hope they at least consider it.
Right, that’s developing special content just for people who played Classic WoW. Hosting it on different realms is immaterial, you’re still asking for Blizz to essentially create a new updated MMO. That’s exactly why Ion said they’re not doing it. Completely defeats the purpose of having Classic in the first place.
This is intended to be everything up to Naxx and that’s it. Nothing more.
i guess it dosnt have to be “Special Content” for just classic WoW could copy ur retail character to another timeline make it an event, and level cap them down kinda thing, we all know blizzard would never consider this but hey thought it would be a cool idea lol
This topic has come up several times, already. Classic is Classic. It’s not going to be a separate MMO that Blizzard has to further develop content for.
