Idc I want tinkers

I take issue with the term tinkerer because it doesn’t sound serious. Tinkering sounds like something an amateur or child or childish amateur would do.

A mechanic or an engineer is someone actually skilled at their trade.

Tinkerer also steps on the engineering profession. A lot.

I really hope we do get a Tinker class next expansion.

The last time players felt the theme of an expansion was silly and a just a joke, it ended up being the best expansion we’ve ever had. I want all the sillies if it means we get MoP 2.0.

It’s more a cause than an actual class as for as I can tell.

I would love highmaul ogres. I want Ko’ragh’s tattoos.

I would rather have a fourth spec and new races but I’m not opposed to Tinkers. I’m “meh” on the topic.

There’s a couple different sources they could draw from:

  • Tinker hero in WCIII
  • Tinker hero in Heroes of the Storm (I think it’s Gazlowe but I never played that)
  • Various mecha-related bosses throughout WoW history (e.g. Blastfuse, Thermaplugg)
  • The Tinker Island Expedition team that had three distinct playstyles represented

I don’t care about anything in 10.0 other than tinkers. Totally being serious. 10.0 could be about anything, but if it has tinkers I’ll be here for it.

As long as tinkering in WoW is no where as annoying as tinkering in EQ was :stuck_out_tongue: I even have the perfect transmog ready for a tinker class  It might actually bring some fun back into the game since engineering is a massive let down (ok, fine, I like my portal generators).

Look at the machine class from other mmos or Gazlowe from HotS.

Warcraft is also filled with tinkers from warcraft 2 to WoW since vanilla

Don’t care what it is, as long it’s another RANGED DPS.

Tinker is just such a boring class idea, plus they’re just going to steal abilities that likely would have gone to hunters and rogues.

Gnome with engineering.
So then you have the class fantasy of some other class? Which class?
None of them are remotely close to a Tinker.

What are you smoking? None of the classes are thematically similar to tinker at all…
None of them even have the Tinker abilities from WC3, like how Demon Hunter’s core ability used to be on Warlock.

100% agree.
The theme of 10.0 could be anything, but if it has a Tinker class, I’m down. It’s the coolest idea for a class and it’s completely unlike anything we have.

I don’t want tinklers because I don’t want them to pee on me :disappointed_relieved:

Next expansion needs a new races, or a class, or a new spec, anything really. It needs something that will add a sense of permanency.

BFA, for all of it’s flaws, spoiled us with allied races so at least it added something that will outlast it. Toys and transmog only do so much.

In WarCraft 3, a Tinker is basically a Hero unit Engineer.

If a Goblin Engineer builds Bombs and Landmines, then a Goblin Tinker is firing cluster missiles, tanking in a Mech suit, building pocket factories & turrets. ETC.

We see Tinkers in WoW like Mekkatorque, Gazlowe, Blackfuse.
Basically any enemy we’ve fought in a Mech suit.

Similarly: before we got Demon Hunters, there were plenty of Demon Hunter NPCs in WoW, and there was a Demon hunter hero in WC3.

#teamTinker.

I’d rather have something that’s part of WarCraft.

Dragonsworn will be a part of Warcraft next expansion

If we get Tinkers, and it’s a pre-order unlock, I will upgrade 2 accounts the second it goes live.
I would love to play out the ultimate goblin(and gnome… I guess) fantasy that so many NPCs have teased us with.
