Anyone else doing the same?
Yea. The end game of this expansion for me is just horrible. I’m hoping it’s worth playing again after 8.1 but it looks to me like more of the same bad stuff being added.
I leveled a couple different alts. Still got bored as soon as I hit 120. Rather play some SP rpgs with my spare time. Replaying the BG series is alot more fun then playing Boredom from Azeroth.
No, just playing casual, making gold and some pvp
I do lots of both!
I’m making Alliance alts. It’s been… interesting. More talking in trade, more helpful people but I already got ganked twice and I’m only 26.
Now, granted, I turned on warmode, but I was standing outside Stormwind doing the Turkey Day stuff. Rogue got me. I chuckled and rezzed and tried to run. Dead. Got a little further next time and immediately turned it off inside the walls of Stormwind. Suddenly… MORE PLAYERS EVERYWHERE!
It’s been fun.
Flying will help a bit with WQs.
But blizz needs to cluster the WQs a lot closer then spreading them out in every different corner of a zone.
I’m leveling a toon exclusively through little pets. I have no motivation to do anymore leveling in BFA to be honest. I did pathfinder on this guy, did the horde side on another and other than the Drustvar storyline have no desire to repeat the zones. Especially Stormsong (shudder).
I despise leveling in all it’s glory. They fact that they made it take even longer and messed up all the zones really doesn’t help the matter either. My wife also used to only level alts, that was her thing, then the leveling changes happened and she unsubbed.
My 2 cents on the topic.
I am not even sure i can do alts anymore, The game is just a mess. I have been playing other MMOs, Other games and even when getting onto wow Its just to grind out rep for the Allied races.
Which i mostly do since nothing other in the game is worth the effort.
It’s how I’ve played since WoD. I enjoy the social aspect of BG & Dungeon leveling. That and building my characters backstory to RP later.
I know what you mean. However, when I play other MMOs, I get burned out quick and come back to WoW.
Im an altoholic, but I still have a lot of fun in my mage.
Tho, not gonna lie, i am burnt out on:
M+
Emissaries
Non-mythic uldir
Mostly on my main, i screw around in random BGs, pet battles, explore, xmog farm old raids, or secondary professions (fishing, archaeology, etc).
There is an obscene amount to do in this game that is fun or relaxing, just not all of it is necessarily going to increase your iLvL.
I actually do the opposite I am still having fun on my hunter here doing world quests and anything else I can think of.
Pretty much.
Like leveling alts in pre-BFA content? God no. I’ve leveled enough in the old world. I’m currently leveling my 110 alts through BFA stuff and gearing my alts - like this one!
Sort of. I don’t want to level alts at all. I am forced to because I have nothing left to do when it isn’t raid night.
I thought it was strange that I was seeing more people in Legion zones than in BfA zones just two months after launch.
Figured it might be because Legion zones were smaller and players being packed into smaller spaces but then remembered we have flying and convenience (read as higher level toons) in Legion. If so, does’t bode well for classic/vanilla WoW.
I’m ok with pushing keys, but there’s like no room for error. This makes it really hard to be inclusive with guild members compared to previously.
Some bosses also scale out of hand without the right classes. Like spider boss.
At the moment, leveling alts and stumbling through mythic+ runs is what I’m doing. Already got exalted, and I don’t have the right schedule to raid, so that’s really all I can do. Oh yeah, I do PvP as well.
