Thanks Blizzard for adding 2 patches with nothing fun or worth doing to give us a chance to go outside and enjoy the spring/summer weather and give us time to catch up on the unplayed games in our Steam library.
Expedition 33 has been an absolute blast! Appreciate you guys.
OP has completed Normal and Heroic every season. They’ve actually got a lot of stuff done in this game. I sure don’t have all of that stuff done. LOL A break is good and it’s good that people have other games to play!
Honestly, the whole package that is 11.1.5 and the whole package that will be 11.1.7 aren’t really bad, but I’m really, really not fond of how long it’s taking for these patches’ actual content to be released in full.
Like, as far as a .5 and a .7 patch go these have quite a lot going for them, objectively, but it all comes out like 3 or 4 weeks later than it should which is ridiculous. Hell, 11.1.5 launched devoid of content outside of the Nightfall stuff and it was in a horrifically broken state as well.
That’s genuinely frustrating considering that 11.1 started off as strongly as it did.
The issue with that is they are using these small recycled patches to cover up the fact the major patch cadence is still the same as shadowlands. Without the major patches people would be complaining that a season lasts half a year. Many still haven’t caught on to that due to the minor patches.
Unironically, I have appreciated WoW not aggressively trying to own my every minute as my real life has gotten temporarily REAL heavy lately, so I’m literally, actually glad I’m “not missing anything.” I’ll be “seated” again just in time for 11.2!
It is intentionally healthy for WoW to do this. They do not want to be overly regulated as an addiction, and it is wise for them to build a “take a break” game.
Heavily time gating content is never healthy. In actuality people burn out faster because they are forced to play X time frame instead of exploring on their own time table.
