IcyVeins thinks that they are a good spec, just unique and underplayed.
The forums believes that it’s a trash spec and worth denying people M+ runs over.
I feel like this can serve as a perfect reminder that opinions are exactly that. Now, bow down to your FURY WARRIOR OVERLORDS and TALK IN ALL CAPS because if you don’t, we’ll kick you while you’re down 
probably true i know the guy who takes care enhancement there is spot on everyone loves him. my peon enhancement bows down with tears rolling down face oh mighty one.
I honestly think it is both a good spec and trash .
Not a fan of melee survival (former range here ) but every spec has potential .
The problem is that it is a niche spec and even Ion has called it as such saying most hunters won’t play it. So with the little amount of players actually playing the spec imho I think Blizz has just gone it’s not worth their time to do any other thing then keep it in maintenance mode. WHich is unfair to those that play the spec.
Wowhead and icy gave me different lego recommendations on pally and DH. Since I don’t plan to grind multiple legos, I’ll pick what feels good to me. Plus gear impacts everything. You can also sim if you think you will be under geared for a long time like I did.
Icy veins said DK would be a top tier tank and ooooooh boy where they wrong from specs to a bunch of other stuff.

Well thank god they wasted the time to completely redo it then, so that nobody could play it. What a stupid thing for a game director to admit, imo. “yeah we knew it was going to be super unpopular and nobody would want to actually play it, but we changed it anyway.”
wasn’t survival meta in pvp though for bfa? Is it still good in pvp?
I have no idea sorry, that just stuck out to me. I used to love survival before they melee-fied it so hearing that he said that bothers me.
So, my Warrior should go Fury then? Not Arms?

Icy Veins has been off this expansion. And this forum is never a place where you’re going to see the best feedback on how a spec is doing. Mostly people complain.

Look survival is one buff to serpent sting and mongoose bite away from being a good spec but they just keep neglecting it
That or they put down real work and like readd some of the passives they keep taking away (only spec with no passives in the ability book btw)
He’s leveling as Fury. I find Fury fun, but the biggest problem with Fury is that it’s terrible on single target elites, since the healing is Not So Good (he has that cooldown he can use). I was curious if Arms would be better in that case.
I ran him as Fury in BfA, and the swirling thwackity-thwack-thwack-WHAM- EXECUTE and the mobility is fun.
Bm was at beginning then after storm of qq bm got neutered , so hunter was left with only 1 spec that was somewhat viable in arenas.
Yes and if it weren’t for pet rez would still be the best hunter spec.
