Anyone else like the current icefury better than the one coming?

New one is an absolute improvement because it will proc from Lightning Bolt as well as Lava Burst.
Old
There are just time when I’d go 3, 5 minutes on a target dummy without seeing a proc.
Part of me wishes it was a PPM rate where you were assured to see it when you cast a Lava Burst once every 30 seconds at a minimum or something.
New
It does less on single target, but makes up for it on 2 target cleave and then some with 3+ making it reasonable if not viable for M+. Sure, it would have been cool if it amplified damage based on the number of jumps it didn’t take.
Mechanically, I just wish the Icefury itself would apply a the Frostshock snare since it replaces the spell when it procs, and there are definitely times when I’m casting Frost Shock to snare the target, particularly when it’s running away where a GCD really does make the difference between catching or losing one’s quarry.
