Hi All
I have been trying to finish the chapters in Icecrown. I should have done them years ago, but I never got around to it. Anyway, I am stuck. The quest is called “New Recruit”. It is the quest where you have to “subdue” a lithe stalker.
Here’s the problem. To subdue them, you have to reduce their health. But I can’t. Even if I remove all my gear, any damage I do to the lithe stalker far exceeds their health. I end up killing them, so I can’t subdue them, so I can’t finish the quest chain.
Any ideas on how to get through this? Any help appreciated.

Group up with someone lower level and have them attack it, see if that works.

Aren’t there items on the Ah you can use to bomb them?
Do it without armor and don’t use abilities, only autoattack I imagine? Or just do it on a lower leveled character provided you haven’t level everyone to 120 yet.
Try using the Foam Sword toy without any armor on and see if that works for you

I’ve tried a few items, but they also do to much damage.
I am open to suggestions if someone knows of a particular item.
Yeah someone had this same problem in 2017 and Foam Sword was the solution.
