Did we ever get a confirmation with how they are handling ICC release?
Will it all be available up front? Are we getting a tiered release similar to the experience in the past?
The first wing of the Citadel, Lower Spire was opened with content patch 3.3.0 on December 8, 2009.
The second wing of the Citadel, the Plagueworks, was opened on US servers on January 5, 2010.
The third wing, the Crimson Hall, was opened two weeks later, on January 19.
The fourth wing, the Frostwing Halls and Frozen Throne, was opened with content patch 3.3.2 on February 2, 2010.
Heroic Mode. To enable it you will have first have to have defeated the Lich King on normal mode.
I assume they will follow SWP and ToGC releases
SWP was not tiered, it was released at once and ToGC was available (heroic version) without clearing normal.

I think that’s the most likely path, yes. But maybe they try to drag this out lol.
I wouldn’t mind them dragging it out, I need to recoup gold after buying DV.
I don’t think they will release it in tiers though, just because it makes the “world first” race less interesting if it’s only a race to complete the last wing. Although, maybe it would be more interesting because guilds that don’t PTR would have more of a chance to practice beforehand would be able to practice for a full raid speedrun once the raid does fully unlock.
is WF classic even that interesting? it’s done in less than an hour usually
I don’t think it’s interesting on any version, but people care about it for some reason.
the real race is usually on PTR, took those same guilds a few days of full day attempts on Alg and Yogg 0
I hope they do it in the same tiered manner. It will make for some very long raid nights at the beginning otherwise.
