Icecream citadel

Nah, they’re all quitting before that disaster as well.

What was disastrous about it?

LFR was the only disaster. and 10v25.

Why was lfr a disaster?

for starters, we still don’t know if it’s meant to be a stepping stone to raiding or a tourist mode replacing raiding for players not capable to raid.

then there’s the lack of ability from the raid leadership to lead the raid. Tools support failing and stacking determination. Trying is not necessary.

it does nothing to prepare players for real raiding.
it does nothing to prepare raid leaders for real raid leading.
it does not offer the teamwork energy of a real raid.
it does not offer the feel that make raiding addictive and it uses raid assets but it is not delivering the raiding experience.

great question.
glad i could answer.

I dunno, you mostly just said why you dislike it. I don’t know if that really explains why it was a DISASTER!!

Maybe it’s just a quick and easy way for some players to experience the bosses to some extent, what’s wrong with that? Why does everything have to be coordinated with raid leaders and discord and blah blah blah? It’s easier content and you get lesser gear as a reward.

as stated above, in my last point, it does not offer the boss experience.

Tempted to bookmark this to see how well it ages when Cata takes a nosedive for active players.

History inevitably repeats itself.

I know out of my guild of around 30 active players less than 10 have any interest in crapaclysm.

Pretty much everyone in my guild stays. Some are quitting WoW for good, regardless of what happens. They are just done with WoW. But no one is going back to Era.

Right here is the proof folks!!!
