Im trying to farm these for raids on bosses that hit really hard on my feral druid, like twin emps. I can use them for Juju escape, and the extra dodge seems awesome. But is there an efficient way to farm these somehow? Wowhead says 9% drop rate, but I’ve killed a lot of these bloody things, and it definitely doesn’t seem right.
Only way to do it more efficiently is to kill them quicker, that’s about it, eko drops are horrid.
I just spent hours farming these and only got 6
RNG be like that sometimes, we didn’t see a perdition’s blade for 5 months.
All these Druids with Mantle of Wicked Revenge
Eko is a group drop, if a mob drops an eko, it drops one for every person in the party holding the item, get 4 other people, you will kill them faster and you will get the same amount in a shorter time than if you solo farmed it.
5% dodge isn’t going to save you from getting crushed to death after unbalancing strike. Get a warrior with a shield and tank the fight properly, otherwise put all the strain onto your healers to carry you.
I don’t know why the forums are bugging out with replies and quotes. I hit reply to the OP.
Do you just hate anything that isn’t a warrior? Wake up, its not 2006 anymore. Ferals are widely accepted, and even welcome in the vast majority of guilds in the game.
And their limitations are thoroughly understood. The problem with feral is players like you who believe they’re superior to warrior tanks in any way. They’re not. They’re solidly 2nd best to warrior tanks. That isn’t them being written off as useless, that’s understanding when and where to use a feral tank. Certainly they are viable, but you will not see them lauded as optimal raid tanks in more than couple encounters.
Nah it’s working as intended. Directing Druid trash posts to the guy who loves to dismantle the stigma. Get with the times kid, Ferals are here to stay and they do exceedingly well.
EDIT: And big oof using Unbalancing Strike as an example of something Druids can’t handle, when it actually hurts Warrior more who rely on defense. I lose 100 Defense and still have 16k armor and a 12k health pool to fall back on. I’ve yet to get gibbed by US.
That you get to tank at all is proof that the stigma is gone. Viable isn’t optimal. You’re delusional if you think ferals are competitive with warriors. “Get with the times, kid” and realize that feral tanks are understood, limitation and all, and are used for specific purposes in raid, not because they’re superior, or even equal, to a warrior tank.
When have I said they’re superior? Read my posts up to this point, ferals are potent tanks that are beneficial to a guild. Warriors are flat out superior when it comes to mitigation, no one with a brain will ever dispute that. This idea that warriors are the only ones that can produce insane amounts of threat is wrong.
I never said only, I sad better. A raid can survive with zero feral tanks, but it can’t survive with zero warrior tanks. Play what you like, but don’t pretend that it’s better than it is.
I’d place money on a warrior with TF, vs a feral druid kitted out for full threat/MCPs would be pretty damn close in threat.
Worth noting that dodge is an aweful mitigation stat for druids in Classic (check the class discord for more details), so these Jujus are a very poor use of a buffslot. You’re much better off stacking additional sources of armor and stamina to boost your EHP than using a dodge consume.
This.
I didn’t know this till a couple weeks ago. It’s kinda beautiful, world farming that encourages random groups outside of dungeons/raids.
E’ko is not lootable by the whole group for me anymore. Am I going crazy?
Edit: Just figured out that the other group member did not have Cache of the Mau’ari equipped. Oops!
Yep, have to have the cache on you
Hahahaha like this entire meta of dual weild fury prot isn’t relying on healers to carry them through the extra damage they are taking by not using a shield.
