Hello, I am trying to purchase ICC 25 man Normal gear. My warlock is Hexmaster-Stormrage. I have the Conqueror mark of sanctification (regular versions) and the normal version of the hands for my warlock. Yet I cannot purchase the 25 man normal version despite having the base gloves and the tokens that are necessary. it keeps saying I don’t have the items. You can check my bags. I have both! I have opened a ticket and two GMs have confirmed (ticket number US76020832) that this is an issue. They believe I had only gotten the heroic tokens and they were not labeling them as heroic. After a GM checked my bags, they confirmed that I had 6 Heroic Conqueror’s mark of sanctification even though I had done on normal difficulty this week and received a token for this as well. This means that both heroic and normal versions of ICC are dropping only the heroic version of the tokens, which in turn aren’t even labeled as heroic in our inventory. Please fix this! I want to buy finish my normal ICC 25 man set before moving onto the heroic 25 set. So functionally these are heroic, but labeling wise these are normal. Even the normal tokens dropped are only flagging as heroics.
I can’t speak for how the system is currently set (or if it’s even working), but when it was originally implemented the tokens from both 10-man Heroic and 25-man Normal were the same. There was then a further token from 25-man Heroic which provided the 2nd and final upgrade. As such it isn’t entirely unexpected that your tokens are labelled (but not shown) as “Heroic” given they technically are.
However, I’m sure there used to be more distinction between them than there is today. From what I can tell the only difference now is the item number (25N is 52027, 25H is 52030) and the icon (25N appears to be a helmet, 25H a shield).
*ed: I’m also sure both used to drop in 25H, just only one of the “Heroic” tokens and either two or three of the “Normal” ones. But checking just now I only received a Heroic token. I was also unable to select any zone size or difficulty other than 25H, nor was I able to change difficulty inside.
