ICC sets, cant use the tokens

bought the missing gear, and I do have the heroic tokens but I can not get them to trade in?

There are 2 different tokens from ICC. They have slightly different icons. Make sure you’ve got the right one.

Also make sure the token is for your class. With some pieces you have to trade the previous piece along with a token. Just look very carefully at what’s needed to get the next piece.

I went into heroic icc, and never got any of the tier gear out of there, but got lots of tokens

You need the tier gear to upgrade. Try buying the base levels and upgrading from there

Make sure you are trying to buy the correct piece. There is a different set for each spec and you can only upgrade existing pieces of the same set. Ie if you have a resto druid helm you can only upgrade that to the next lvl resto helm. It is a bit confusing but this was before the set pieces would auto change with your spec.

For icecrown you start with “normal” tier 10 gear (which you can buy from the vendors downstairs with gold; I don’t think it actually drops but I could be wrong). Then there’s two layers of upgrades. The first uses tokens from (iirc) 25-normal/10-heroic (Mark of Sanctification) to upgrade the normal stuff to “sanctified” (so if you started with Lasherweave Shoulders they become Sanctified Lasherweave Shoulders"), and then the second uses tokens from 25-heroic (also Mark of Sanctification, but tagged “Heroic”) to upgrade to “Heroic” sanctified lasherweave shoulders.

It’s not so much per-spec as it is per-role. Druids have like 3 sets (bear and cat share if I’m reading it right); mages have 1; death knights have 2; you get the idea. But it looks like the 3 druids sets may have the same appearances, so you may not have to worry about it assuming you’re just in it for xmog. (For example, “Heroic Sanctified Lasherweave Raiment” looks just like “Heroic Sanctified Lasherweave Robes” to me on wowhead, and as I recall my DK only had to buy one of each slot; then the other of the same slot showed as collected.)
