Wrath of the Lich King Classic
During our progression last night on heroic 10m Valithria whenever Power Word: Shield was cast on the dragon the health pool went down by 3%.
We are currently going through the logs to see what happened.
Here’s one example.

We just had the same thing happen TWICE in our 25 HM kill:

We studied the logs for a while, no one can figure it out…
Here to report I think I almost wiped my 25 normal raid here because I cast PW:S on Valithria and she suddenly gained 3mil max health at time stamp 6:02. Differs from your case in that she didn’t lose health but gained max hp. But it appeared to have happened immediately have I cast PW:S in the raid, and the time stamp lines up.
It appears to specifically be Weakened Soul, not PW:S, as you can see her Max HP dropping again once Weakened Soul fades, in the logs from Jaded and Howdy. And yes, Jaded and Howdy were getting Max HP increases, not current HP decreases:

Worth noting her max HP does also change when Blood Pact and Commanding Shout are applied or removed, which account for some of the more minor fluctuations in max HP.
That lines up with what I’m seeing in my logs here:
