Is your character a freelancer struggling to find work? Perhaps they’re in a guild, but their specialty is something that is seldom needed. In any case, I feel as if there’s a distinct lack of advertisement for IC specialists whose work could be put to use in certain character or guild plotlines. Oftentimes guilds will use NPCs to resolve issues that they don’t have anyone available for, but I think bringing real people on board makes the experience that much more interesting.
So here it is, the idea that came to me in a fever dream and has probably been done a hundred times before – the IC job thread! For all the archaeologists with key knowledge about lost artifacts, for all of the mentor figures without someone to ment. This is the place to advertise your character and what they do, so people can come to you about plotlines and other various business that your character would be interested in!
Feel free to make whatever sort of template you’d like for your character! I’ll try to get an advertisement for myself up to get the ball rolling once I can think of something.
Specialty/Interests: Spiritbinding including communication and summoning, unstable alchemy, and curses/hexes along with their removal. Also adept at general magical identification.
