I would rather (templates)

I would rather 50k more health than my fresh 120, rather than over 250k more health; not to mention use items etc…

I was never a fan of templates. It was always boring, imo.

I like having gear that I work for. If someone has more time to put into their account, they should have an advantage over me.

Begone from these forums, your opinion will be the death of the WoW PVP scene.

Templates isnt bad if they would do a stat allocation system so you could customize your build. Like certain talents like different stat weights for some.
But I think first they really need to visit tuning first

That would be better, yes. But it is still anathema to the whole concept of the game.

He gets mad when anyone destroys him in game that has a gear advantage seen him in game before not the most friendly guy in chat all i will say.

I mean I would prefer the WoD pvp gear system, but anything from the past* would be better than this

Edit: fixed a word

Templates with reforging.

No templates. No thank you.

However, and its been beat to death and Bliz is numb to it, pvp vendors are the true answer in a progression based game.

Templates with reforging will just be an added annoying process to have to select the correct cookie cutter meta reforge.

Templates wouldn’t be ideal, but at least they wouldn’t be horrible if there was some relationship between the stats they gave and the stats your spec needed. Some specs got a gift from the gods and were OP all expansion because of it. Some were barely playable because the templates were all wrong for their spec.

Don’t reforge your gear then.

Then don’t reforge anything. It would be an option.

I rarely saw any arguments against just having a PvP vendor with PvP gear except when op raid/dungeon trinkets got used in PvP, because you could usually gear up to compete pretty easily pretty quickly(in fact so quickly it was a good easy jump into PvE stuff if you needed it). If you remember in Legion templates did not go so well for a variety of reasons, I do not think they would go well again even with stat allocation because of the major emphasis it puts on the specs and classes power(my warrior as protection was so strong, the artifact and gear helped but it was the class set up of skills that mainly did it(getting decent stats helped too but some more haste wouldve helped), and they have so much trouble balancing classes already, remember how strong survival hunters were in Legion especially while leveling that people just swarmed to them? Also, the amount of stats, and how much control you have over them would probably be regulated as well. At least now you can accomidate your weaknesses through various means, back then I argue just as I do now that without full choices(or item usage capability, remember that?) it can be very discouraging on participation in the long run.

Gear which is somewhat balanced through “Magic Scaling” and actual statistics would be perfect IMO.
Templates were terrible, once again IMHO.

Reforging would remove some the RNG addiction (Time gate) that is quite the rage for Activisons MAU.
Custom builds are so much fun to tinker with.

I would rather have vendors :frowning: that way you could gear by doing battlegrounds. The only good thing about templates was pretty much being able to do bgs on alts immediately. If they add templates again they should make them customizable, idk
